Thanks to the large capacity of our ovens...

Because of our job as bronze bell founders, customers, communities or associations regularly ask us to make large bronze plaques.
 
This is possible thanks to the large capacity of our ovens. This is how the Paccard Foundry twice cast slabs of dimensions: 2.55 m by 1 m and each weighing more than 550 kg. These plaques are sealed on the forecourt of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

Our manufacturing process

The design of the bronze plate is done by modeling the mold in 3D to take into account the wishes of the customer for the text and the decorations (logo, drawing, etc.)
 
We submit a "Ready to press", after modeling (see example opposite), for approval before manufacturing

How much does it cost ?

To establish an estimate for the manufacture of a bronze plaque, we need two pieces of information:
- the desired size of the plate, which allows us to calculate the bronze weight;
- decorative and inscription elements (file, text, black and white logos).
From these elements, the working time, making up the price of the plate, is calculated by our Master Founder.

Fixings of bronze plate

Fixing the bronze plate

We leave you the choice between two methods of fixing the plate.
- either by making small bronze lugs behind the plate that we will tap to fix ends of threaded rods, allowing a chemical sealing of the plate on its support.
- either we will simply make holes in the plate for fixing with screws.
